The Pipehorn ProPack+ gives crews both capabilities while adding the flexibility of signal clamp locating.
The Pipehorn 800-HL provides dual-frequency utility locating with 9 kHz and Pipehorn’s 480 kHz high frequency, giving crews flexibility for long-distance locates, short services, congested areas and inductive locating when direct connection isn’t available.
The Maghorn Magnetic Locator complements the Pipehorn 800-HL by pinpointing buried ferrous objects including valve boxes, manhole covers, curb stops, property pins and cast-iron pipe bell joints. Its patented sensor technology detects iron and steel while avoiding other metallic objects in the ground.
The included 5″ Signal Clamp provides another way to apply the Pipehorn 800-HL transmitter signal to an accessible pipe or cable when making a direct electrical connection isn’t practical.

The Signal Clamp provides a convenient way to apply the Pipehorn 800-HL transmitter signal to an accessible pipe or cable without making a direct electrical connection. Clamp around the target conductor to induce the locating signal directly onto the line.
