Pipehorn Repairs
If your Pipehorn is not performing as expected, there are a few things to check before sending it in for repair. In many cases, the issue can be resolved quickly in the field.
Unlike many locators, Pipehorn does not require yearly calibration or scheduled maintenance. Pipehorn equipment is built to last and designed for dependable field use.
You are also backed by a 3-year warranty on Pipehorn locators.
Before You Send It In
1. Check the Batteries
Make sure the batteries are fresh and installed correctly. Weak batteries can affect performance and may make it seem like the unit needs service when it does not.
2. Perform a System Check
Complete a full system check to confirm whether the issue is with the locator, transmitter, receiver, leads, or accessories.
3. Still Not Performing Correctly?
If your Pipehorn is still not performing correctly after checking the batteries and completing the system check, please fill out the Repair Request Form.
