About the training:

This hands-on training combines classroom instruction and outdoor field locating exercises using real utilities and locating scenarios. Get technical know-how and practical experience in the use of Pipehorn pipe and cable locators.

Training is held in person at the Pipehorn Training Facility in Birmingham, Alabama. This in-person training is provided at no charge at our factory and is valued at $200 per attendee.

  • Cost: No cost to attend ($200 value per attendee)

  • Work boots or closed-toe shoes

  • Your Pipehorn locating equipment (encouraged but not required)

On-Site Training

If you desire training at your location or facility, please complete the Training Request form. We can then offer options and pricing.

Pipehorn can provide on-site training for utilities, municipalities, and contractors when scheduling allows. On-site training requires a minimum of 5 attendees, with a maximum of 20 per class.

Training Request

    Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

    Training sessions are scheduled based on attendee participation and weather conditions.

    Pipehorn reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to severe weather, facility conditions, or insufficient enrollment. When possible, attendees will be notified at least 48 hours in advance.

    If a session must be canceled, registered attendees will receive priority placement in the next available training date.
